When I received my Flex VIP Special, I was only expecting to see three LC CCS pads in the kit - Orange, White and Blue but to my surprise there were also 4 flat foam.

What has got me stumped is, what is the Dark Green pad in the photo below?
I can't find it anywhere's I look at the AG Store here..

(And if it's not green, my bad. I'm somewhat color-blind...)

It's a finishing pad. It's green to prevent cross contamination.

I think they call it Lime.
It is the new addition to Lake Coutry pads, same finishing as blue or red foam.

Thanks for the replies.
I like to have spares of all my pads, but I can't locate this pad anywhere.

Or do I need to buy another Flex to get more :help:

I thought I read somewhere where its used for cleaner waxes.

That's the CCS pad. CCS green - great for all in ones.

The green flat pad the VIP kit is like the red pad dyed green.

You know, when I get to trying them out, I'm hoping I'll like the hydrotech pads best. Three colors.

Like the old Devo song says, "Freedom of choice..it's what you got...Freedom from choice, it's what you want!" Im the MAN

Do you have more info on this or a link? If it's to an outside source please pm me with it.

That's not a CCS pad, it is a standard flat pad. There are 2 different green CCS pads though, a light polishing pad in 5.5" for AIO's and a course green 6.5" pad, in between yellow and orange. Very weird.

If that's the purpose, how about some different colors for SMAT and DAT polishes. Now we have black, gold, red, blue and now green..go figure.

If it's Lake Country, it must be special made.
All of the LC Flat Foam pads I can find have black backs, these all have white.
I like the white backs because I can mark what I used them with using a black Sharpe.

With all the different compounds I use, trying to do each in it's own color would be useless...specially my being color deficient.

But I can read the big letters I write (most times)

I was referring to Alex's comment where he thought it was the AIO pad. I should have been more clear. The Green CCS I was referring to for AIO's and this flat green pad which is a green colored soft polishing pad. And then there's another green CCS pad I forgot about? Shoot can't keep them straight!

Freedom from choice, it's whats I wants... Hello Hydrotech!Im the MAN:buffing:Im the MAN

Wow, not sure how I missed that? Thanks

Gotcha, I just thought you were confused like me :D

NOT a green AIO polishing pad.

It is for waxes and sealants - same as red pad.

Three types of green pads - coarse green, polishing green, and this new no-cut lime pad. Yay! Now you can do all your three steps with the same color of pads!
