I wanted to show you this concept of my car (smart forfour) with translucent body panels; what polish would you use on this? :D

only thing i could think of is a plastic polish. what are the panels made of?

Blackfire on a wool pad after an intense 1000 grit wetsanding session.

There are a few Mexicans here in Austin that have these. They just are way too small. It's one thing to have a fuel effecient vehicle, but DAMN, it's not exactly practical.

I'd love to but my 3/4 ton Dodge right behind 'em on I-35, the blow some soot as I pass them.

You should read about Dr. Freud and his theory about man concerning "size" issues, and for that matter your idea of "practical".

Since you have obviously read what Sigmund Freud had to say about size issues, please, elaborate on your above statement.
