Distilled water only in steam cleaner.

Yes, just water...or distilled water if it's required.

Yes, distilled water only... If you want to pretreat your carpet, we use Pinnacle Carpet and Upholstery cleaner. Typically I don't use a steam cleaner rather an extractor.

Thanks fellas! I wasn't sure if in addition to the distilled water if there was a particular product that could be utilized with the steam cleaner as a detergent.

Only certain steamers have chemical injection. Check with the manufacturer that makes your steamer to see if the chemical injection option available on your machine.
