My car is lava red which looks black 99.99% of the time unless it's in the sun then you can see the metallic red. I was wondering what product really makes the metallic POP when out in the sun. I'm just curious to see what product is best for showing off the flake. Thanks!!!!

It depends on what kind of product you are needing. Theres polishes, sealants and waxes that can all enhance the flake in a vehicles paint.

Duragloss 501, since it is an AIO on steroids that can last + six months.

On my dark blue pearl paint the angle of light/sun seems to have more of an affect than any wax or polish I've tried.

Look for sealants or waxes that describe the after effect of the finish as "bright and shiny" vs. "wet and shimmery."

Bright and shiny effects like you'll find from liquid Souveran are geared more toward brighter colors, and help enhance pearls.

Cleaning and polishing your paint as best you can before application of any LSP will also help.

i really need to try the duragloss 501 or 105. I tried the Klasse for an AIO and really was less than impressed...great slickness, but not enough bite for me o the BMW i used it on.

I found this worked perfect for my car, make sure you breakout your shades because the shine is going to blind you, lol. People will be turning there heads.

1. Wash
2. Clay
3. Wash
4. Chemical Guys EZ-Creme Glaze w/Acrylic Shine
5. Chemical Guys JetSeal 109 Super Acrylic Sealant
6. Chemical Guys 5050 Limited Series Concourse Paste Wax

I have been using CG citrus wash then sprayed with V7 followed by Blacklight and another coat of V7 then a coat of CG 5050 paste wax. The shine is unbelievable on black paint

The Blacklight should really go on before the V7 to begin with. It is counter productive to put the Blacklight on the V7 as Blacklight will last longer as a first stage rather then over top of V7 synth QD.

Try this and save your self a little time.

CG wash
Blacklight(sealant)
CG 5050(nubba wax)
V7(Synth QD)

I washed it yesterday then blew it dry with my leaf blower. Then today under fluorescent lights I noticed all these circles. Upon further inspection I believe it is hard quarter stains from what the blower didn't get off. When I was drying it it would leave the whole car with these real tiny water bubbles (beading). Well when they dried it left water marks. I guess now I will have to start drying with towel after the blower. So I guess I will have to use M205 to remove the hard water marks.

a good QD might work instead of a total polish

This subject has come up 100X..it's all in the polishing of the clear coat and not the LSP that will make your flake pop.

Fuzion really brought out the metallic in my Cyber Gray GS.
