Most compounds, paint cleaners, cleaner/polishes, pure polishes, glazes, cleaner/waxes will work with a rotary.
Just read the back label or whatever documentation you can find on the product on the Internet. Most pro products are going to be formulated for rotary buffers as that's where the market is for these types of products. Plus if it will work with a DA or Orbital then it will usually work with a rotary but there are some companies that do make tool specific products so if in doubt, post a question here.
You'll love that Makita. I still own my first one that I bought in 1988 and am going to have it rebuilt as I completely wore it out after buffing out thousands of cars with it.
