what soap for a foam gun?

Can you use any soap with a foam gun? Or do you need a special foaming soap? I am thinking of picking up a G-foam from the home depot and using that. Any input?
 
Honestly any soap will work. I actually found Meg's GC to work bettern than the DP Extreme Foam with the G Foam blaster.
 
I have the PB super slick and suds. Will that work? If so, how much do I put in the canister or do i fill 'er up?
 
in the G Foam probably about an ounce or 2.
 
Anyone have a source for the adapter required to use the G Foamer with an electric Karcher? My local HD(the place that sells the G Foamer) did not have the adapter kit(unless it's hidden in the store). I'm wondering if: a) just my HD doesn't have the adapter b) HD doesn't carry the adapter c) there is another source for the adapter. Thanks in advance.
 
Ive used megs nxt and DP. The DP foams with much less product and sticks better.

Optimum is a good foamer as well.
 
Dawn and apc= crazy foam! (only use to strip lsps off)
