I was wondering what everyone is using for squeeze bottles....
I notice that whenever i try dispense products from AG's 16 oz bottles, i always give too much out... and all the squeeze bottle AG carries is just like a snap on red cap?
Looks like very easy to loose and lost... and more importantly im afraid it will dry out the product....? Because im just detailing my car as a hobby and wont do it very often...

I have the 8 oz AG bottles, I haven't yet actually used them for dispensing product, but they are filled and ready to go. As far as the caps, I took some fishing line, tied it below the lowest thread on the bottle neck then hot glued the other end to the red cap.

Nice thing you can somewhat customize the size of the dispensing hole depending on how high\low you cut.

I'll try to remember to snap some pics when I get home tonight.

Yea i want to get the Meg self clean too, but is like 8$ for 3 bottles lol =[
And i probably need like 12 to get started =[

Fishing line is a pretty cool idea but im superly anal in getting things looking all neat =[

12oz walmart squeeze bottles found in the kitchen gadget aisle, 97 cents each and have a teather on the cap.

My question is... does those bottle matter if is chemical resistant?
Like the bottles from walmart? Will it change the chemical properties of the chemical lol?

Even the glue glob isn't terribly noticable.

Yup megs self-cleaning hands down. you won't ever lose the "cap", and it never cakes and hardens at the top cause there's a little nub that blocks the opening when you close it. Great stuff.

all of the squirt bottles ive seen are fine for our chemicals, most of them use a better grade of chemical resistance plastic then the factory bottles. so dont need to worry about it changing properties, we are not working with some really harsh chemicals now due to voc regulations. still good to use PPE but for the most part our chemicals wont melt the flesh off your bones with one touch to your bare skin so they should not harm the bottles we use :)

I've got the same bottles and just wanted to know, if I had polish/wax I no longer use in the bottle, can I re-use it after cleaning it out and with what would I use to clean it, APC, Dawn ???

It seems to clump up on the inside...

Dawn with a bottle brush works well then rinse a lot with warm water.
