First let me start out and say hello to everyone. I am one of thoes people that will spend a entire weekend hand waxing my 2003 Sierra and Pontiac G6. I currently have 2 of the cheap $30 buffers. Needless to say I am not thrilled with the results. So I am thinking of a Roatery or random orbital. Scratches bug me to no extent. I currently use Wizard Supreame seal and their Black magic. I am happy with them, I just wonder if anyone has tried Wizards and prefers Something else? By the way Michigan is cold now and have waxed for a while.

Primarly what buffer or polisher would be a good investment?

Just got my pc with edge pads. Terrific results and quick pad change.

I was leaning toward the PC heavy duty or th Hitachi. The reason I like Wizard is that it contains no silcates or petroleum products. Body shops around here use it. That was some of the criteria that the service group at GM lean towards. The feed back has been awsome!:awesome:

PC HD is the same model as the 7424, just a thicker cord.

The hitachi is a rotary, and not recommend use for inexperienced users, as it can burn your paint if you aren't careful.

The HD also has a longer cord. I believe 20-25 ft? I can't remember, but I have the HD and love it.

I wish the PC had a ground plug though, that's my only complaint.
