What to put on nerf bars

I’m an avid car washer/detailer. I hand wash my vehicles at least once a month, if not twice a month. However, twice a week I go through a very reputable car wash.

I recently purchased a truck and have added nerf bars. My problem is after I leave the car wash, where they shine the wheels, I get lots of spots on the nerf bars from the wheel spin kicking off the shine. Soap and water removes it. However, looking for recommendations on what I can put on the nerf bars to prevent ever seeing the spots.

Ideas? I have an entire shelf full of Griots products.

Well what you are seeing is indeed sling shots from the tire dressing the car wash uses. Have them stop using it. And pick a good quality dressing that will prevent sling off. Duragloss #253, Gyeon and Gtechniq I found are among the best. Nothing you put on the nerf bars will hide sling shots. And welcome to the forum!

Tell them to stop the tire sling crap. Apply a good product at home when you do your wash and you should be good to go.
