I am trying to clean the hard plastic in the back of the interior on a Jeep.

I have tried many detailing sprays, WG, Mothers, and one other. I have also used Megs interior detailer. Even tried glass cleaner. The spots keep coming back. I tried soap and water. I did not try like a Simple Green or a Citrus based product as didn't know if it would damage the plastic.

I can't imagine they would damage the plastic worse than dog slobber. I did a VW bug for a friend that had dog slobber on the bumper. I couldn't get the dog slobber gone, but I did at least get it shiny again. Digestive enzymes are nothing to sneeze at.

I will try some more aggressive cleaners. I can get it shiny and looks good for a week or so but then the spots come right back.

Thanks.

I think you will need something that will break down biological enzymes.

Amazon carries a brand called Sunny & Honey Professional Stain and Odor Eliminator. It's not cheap ($20.00 for 32 fl oz) but it's supposed to break down the drool from your loved one. If it don't work....send it back to Amazon.

Good Luck and have fun.

You tried EXTERIOR detail sprays on the INTERIOR? That won't clean it up very well.
I have three dogs and I either use D101 or Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer (which can be found locally in many auto stores) to clean up their marks.

I have two Greyhounds that ride in my Honda Fit.
Megs D114 cleaned the interior just perfectly. No issues.
I did the doors, all the plastic trim and the glass.

I then followed up with Pinnacle Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner / Protector.

It all looked fantastic for a few hours, until we took the dogs for a ride.. :-)

Cute dogs. I will have to try D114. I do not know what that is but will search. At this point I am going to try them all.

Here is one of the two ready to go. His brother looks the exact same just slower :props:
