I've tried quite a few things on these wheels so far to remove these water spots / oxidation to no avail.

They are polished aluminum eagles, been on the truck for about 5 years.

Here are the pics:

I was thinking of purchasing the Wolfgang MetalWerk system next to see if it will remove the spots but thought i might ask a few opinions before i did.

thanks

water stains are pretty tough, I used M105, than M205 with 4 inch pads on a D/A....works great

i just did a set of rims that were painted and all scratched up now there a polished aluminum they turned out good i used the wolf gang kit. if you want to see photos of them i did a how to fix scratched rims in the wet sanding and buffing section.

If they are uncoated I like P21S Polishing Soap and then a metal polish like Flitz or Simichrome. It wont remove pitting (like on the chrome caps) but can remove the rust coloring. Remember to protect afterwards, perhaps something like Optiseal or Poorboys Wheel Sealant.

Thanks for the reply guys. The wheels are uncoated.

so far i've used:
NeverDul
Mothers Power ball with
Meg's Metal Polish
Mothers Metal Polish

Also tried a small area with some rubbing compound.

I have a bottle of 105 and 205 so i guess ill start with that, just need to get some 4" pads.

Im not too concerned with the center caps as i can order new ones for $12 each, just wanted to get the rims in shape before i went that route.

What pad would you recommend to use for this?

Yellow / Orange for the 105 and maybe grey for the 205?
