I have been told to first try vinegar to remove some mild water spots that have accumulated on my car over the last few weeks (had to park the car outdoors overnight since garage space is temporarily taken up). This is for clear coated Lexus paint.

What type of vinegar should I use? Regular or apple cider? How should I use it? Straight from the bottle? Diluted? Wipe on-Wipe off?

I am assuming this stuff will remove the wax so I'd need to re-wax the car?

Thank you for any help.

I use white vinegar on cloth....with plenty of rinsing afterwards.

Munich77 is correct. Be sure to rinse it well. Vinegar is actually a mild acid so you know what it can do. There are products made specifically for this purpose, you know. I understand that you want to go the cheap route, though. Let's see what others comment on this.
