What's needed to sand with the Porter Cable 7424xp

hello guys, im a bit confuse on this matter. i have a pc7424 and i would like to know what attachments or add ons do i need to purchase to turn it into a da sander. ive seen this :

Meguiars Unigrit 6 Inch Professional Backing Plate
Meguiars Unigrit 6 Inch Professional Backing Plate, meguiars buffer backing plate, sanding disc pad, meguires

and ive also seen this
PORTER-CABLE 16000 6 Inch Standard Pad
it fits the 7424xp.. but i see it, and it just looks like a backing plate.

this looks like its the piece that gets hooked on the backing plate above
PORTER-CABLE 18001 6-Inch 6-Hole Hook and Loop Standard Pad for 7336 and 97366 Random Orbit Sander

not sure what i need to buy.. i already have a backing plate, but thats the one i use for my foam pads.

Meguiars Unigrit™ 6 Inch Foam Interface Pad, sanding disc interface pad, backup pad, foam backing pad

then just apply whatever 6" sanding discs you'd like

I'm not sure if a Meguiar's backing plate would be necessary, but I could be wrong.

damn, i didnt noticed that one.. and yes, it looks like its the middle piece between the backing plate, and the sanding paper... ill give it a try. thanks:xyxthumbs:
