What's the deal with Optimum Car Wax adding color?

Dr. G has been updating some of the formulations but I believe the color changes are just for marketing purposes. Bottling too. My OPC came in a clear bottle last time I ordered it.
Due to covid they changed bottles due to supply issues. Bottles will remain clear going forward.

Opti-Clean is a light periwinkle/blue.
They look good though!. I dig the green Instant Detailer with the green and blue trigger. I liked the uniformity of the Optimum line before, but I'm a sucker for colors too.. So I'm enjoying the new clear bottles and colored formulations.
