what's the last car care/detailing video you've just watched?

I mentioned this before and this is a screenshot of a single bucket setup by Mike G.

I simulated this with a 1 x 2 piece of wood shoved between the dolly and the bucket. I will secure it better next time but I liked it,

It is a handle to move around as well as towel rack. I am sure the pole could have more hooks to hang other stuff.

That guy ^ is difficult for me to understand because of his accent. If i have to strain to listen to what someone is saying then i just prefer to not listen. Plus he was throwing out some BS which further promted me to stop watching.

I actually went to the transcript because I thought I misheard some of what he was saying, nope.

Yum is getting a push right now

He's been making many mentions of a future home in America... guess this is the funding stage

The owner Nick spent 17 year's in the British Armed forces and saw action in Afghanistan, as per the YUM car care page don't know why that is really on there.

I wonder if that was front line work or Logistics work?

I remember when if you typed into YT before all this THOR BS YUM car there would be a handful of UK reviews on the product's.

YES! Some of the stuff I've tried was good BUT price point NO!

The guy is a tosser of epic proportions, a bully who turns his barbs back on the victim as if he is an innocent pussy cat. I have no time for him, his products or the video content, especially now with the THOR tie up.

You know when they say subscribe, like, and comment they are after the money and boost in YT algorithms. I stumbled across a 2+ year old video by Yvan and Nick. Nick had long hair in the back and a mustache - seemed bizarre.

That circle jerk is real, legal out there in "Sin City" without a doubt too

I know, I know.....................................But there is some insightful info being presented here regarding where the ADS products come from.

The Wheel Coating was their first product, and the first I sampled back in October 2023, which I had imported directly from ADS. The brand then blew up and eventually landed here in early 2024. With success comes scrutiny and critique. No brand is perfect, but I like how ADS have let the products do the talking, and when required, make changes as needed. You will notice in recent months more and more content coming directly from ADS, particularly around manufacturing, bottling and chemistry.

I'd also recommend watching the below video as well, which explains a lot about how ADS formulate and how chemicals become the way they are. In this case they have focused on the Decon Soap, but there is plenty of insight regarding the industry and chemical composition. (If you don't want to watch over an hour of content, the chemical talk is within the first 20 minutes.

Anyone watch "Detail projects channel". Watched a rinse less wash video one time...

I've always wondered how companies, founded by people without a chemistry background, come up with their chemicals. Yeah yeah... hire someone to formulate them for you, I get it... but the money for that needs to come from somewhere.

If I get around to watching that video, maybe I'll get some insight.

I can understand not wanting to sit through waffle, but geez, some people here have very short attention spans complaining about videos longer than 5 minutes to be excessive.

And not every detailing Youtube channel is about chasing money. For some, myself included, it's a creative outlet. It's funny, I had so many people telling me (on here and elsewhere) that I should have my own Youtube channel. I resisted because I'm far too shy in front of a camera, but I've found ways around that. And yet, I've found as soon as you start posting links to the videos people were asking for, suddenly I'm just another wannabe Youtuber pushing content to gain views, which was NEVER my intention. For me, it was always about putting some motion to the words my written posts. It was also another creative outlet for me to tinker with.

Anyway, I thought I would provide an alternative perspective. Not every Youtube channel is pushing an agenda, and just because a video is long, that doesn't mean it's simply to generate more add revenue.
What's your channel?
