what's the last car care/detailing video you've just watched?

Interesting to note at around the 8:00 mark, Bradley states they are testing the Feynlab ceramic detailer. Are they working on a similar product? 👀

Guess they need a better one. Every test I've have watched the Feynlab out performs the ADS both Amplify and their sealant.

Amplify is a VERY different product to the Feynlab product. One is a gloss and slickness enhancer with very minor protective properties (Amplify), one is a full-on spray sealant designed for longevity (Feynlab). The key to Amplify is that it won't build up over time, which can be a potential source of streaking and ghost marks.

Um...don't they already have a similar product?

They do, its called Ceramic Spray Sealant. After all of those pointless torture tests, they have since beefed it up, ideal for those who like to go around soaking their paint with APC and other inappropriate chemicals.

Anyone watch "Detail projects channel". Watched a rinse less wash video one time...

I've always wondered how companies, founded by people without a chemistry background, come up with their chemicals. Yeah yeah... hire someone to formulate them for you, I get it... but the money for that needs to come from somewhere.

If I get around to watching that video, maybe I'll get some insight.

That's the thing though, Bradley clearly has an understanding of chemicals. "Some" companies will follow the path you have just described, and there is nothing wrong with that. But its not the case with ADS.

I posted this below video earlier in the thread, but it clearly shows someone who knowns what they are talking about. That doesn't mean he or his company blends every single product, if you had watched the videos posted, he informs the viewer the coatings are formulated by a friend and are made in Asia. The chemical line is blended within the USA, some by ADS, some by a contractor. Again, pretty standard for the industry. They have also recently launched a chemical formulation and blending company to consult with other brands.

The only reason why I've gone to the trouble to highlight all this is because so many people over the last 12 - 18-months have questioned how ADS get their products. I also know that someone from this forum tried to catch ADS in a lie about all this, and believe me, that didn't go unnoticed on their end. I've probably said too much.

Anyone whom tries Feynlab Ceramic Spray Detailer will be BLOWN AWAY! Going forward, I'll always have it my collection

On Facebook, Ivan stated clearly that many of the THOR sold brands have a common financial backer with experience in auto industry who provides the money. He notes they are silent partners and let people like himself have a financial stake and manage the brand. I believe the "face" of the brand in the enthusiast detailing community who have passion (good for brand affinity) and money is extremely important. In this group. there is a segment that seems to care more about white label than how the product performs.

Given the tremendous number of brands, it must seem like a lucrative market.

I watched some of that video. Particularly the part where Bradley references the beading of ADS products vs the Feynlab on his pickup.
Ive got no bone to pick with the guys at ADS. However Bradley claims the ADS products are out performing the Feynlab and the ADS has superior beading.
Im calling straight up BS on that statement. The Feynlab is a beading monster. Every other ( non company owner ) comparison the Feynlab was superior.
Besides if it wasnt superior they wouldn’t be reformulating their product.

I don't think Bradley was knocking the feynlab product, he was just demonstrating the effect their decon soap had on the product. At the end of the day these companies want you to stay within their ecosystem of products so of course their decon soap will play nicer with their own products vs another product they do not manufacture.

The feynlab product is fantastic and the fact that they are testing the feynlab product shows that they are always striving to improve their own products and not just sitting on their behinds. Many other companies do the same, they're just not as upfront about it.

He also stated in that video, and to me personally, that they buy and test EVERY competitor product on the market. Obviously, take that "every" with a grain of salt, but benchmarking key competitors across each product category is a key motivation factor for the brand. He has also noted many times that the final product is very much a balance between what "we" (Bradley and DJ) likes in a detailing product, but also what is safe for general consumption.

Maybe ADS will benchmark Feynlab v3 RW to have an additional RW to offer to us customers looking for a strong, PURE RW cleaner

Sandro is a class act, be that his videos or in person. He also seems to cut through all of the industry hype (I hate that word by the way) and theatrics common to many detailing channels.

I've been in contact with him via emails his a genuine person.
