whats this coating

Spoke to a lady today and she said she has her BMW coated every 6 months at the dealership. She said it was something called "tomar" or something.
Does anyone have any info on what this product is and what do we have that is like it.
any info would be great so I can educate her.

Every 6 months sounds like just a standard dealer applied paint sealant.

thats what I was thinking but wasnt sure
