I have always been hesitant about a no rinse wash or some type of spray I can use that works more like a wash rather than a quick detail. I have the FK for a QD, but I'm looking for something that I can use for inbetween a two bucket wash. What product is your favorite?

:buffing:

I use both ONR and DP RWnG, the only thing I can notice is different between the two during use is that DP rinseless smells a lot better and is pink instead of blue. Both products are great at doing everything they advertise. I even use them occasionally to wipe down dashboards and clean glass unless its too dirty (just spray a couple sprays onto a waffle weave MF).

As far as I know there's only two no-rinse washes on the market - Detailer's Pride Rinseless Wash & Gloss and Optimum No Rinse. While there are a lot of debates about products, ONR seems to be the universal 'must have' product in everyone's toolbox. After trying it out I completely agree with that statement.

Does the ONR have a high lubricity? I am curious how much dirt or grime would justify switching to regular washing methods vs what ONR can handle? I am uneasy about damaging the paint during the cleaning process.

Feed back please

ONR has extremely high lubricity, moreso than any car wash I've used at standard diltuions. But still, anything more than light dirt/pollen/dust/road film and I pull out the traditional wash and presoak/rinse off the car with the hose before my mitt goes on it

Poorboy's Spray & Wipe. Yes, I have tried ONR and the others. I realize I'm the odd man out but I just don't care for them.....gave them away actually. I have not tried Optimum Opti Clean yet, that's next and I'll give it a fair shot.

I didn't think much of PB. It seemed like there was more friction whiping across the paint.

Ultima just released their new product which can used as a rinseless wash or a waterless wash.

All are entitled to their opinions. For me it worked better than the others.

Perhaps you didn't use enough of the product?

My only experience is with ONR and was skeptical as others on its use but quickly became a fan. Have passed out samples to friends and family from which no complaints have come back to me.

When in doubt, do a full wash.

I've only ever used ONR and it works so well for me that I have little interest in trying any of the others. :xyxthumbs:

I was using PB S&W and I liked it but now have a gallon of ONR to be used just as soon as I run out of the free DP RW&G that I got in my last order. I think the DP is OK. It doesn't seem very slick mixed as a clay lube though.

Not true anymore. UWW+ Concentrate makes a waterless @ 0.5 oz per 22 oz. It can be used as a rinseless @ 1 oz per 3 gal, Works as well as ONR but costs MUCH more than ONR or DP if purchased by the gal. OTOH it cost a third of what the Optimum and DP WW concentrates and is the slickest of the bunch.
I prefer the new ONR over DP RW. IMO it is easier to remove and adds more gloss than DP. DP is better than original ONR IMO. All of these WW's are much safer and perform gloss wise as FK 425, OID or any other QD. These WW's are the most versatile products I own. All 3 are top shelf!
