I have the Autofiber reacher tool along with their towels. Not impressed.. Have. the TRC Standard waffle weave. tried white diamond weave towel, but I'm not sure of the brand.
I use Adam's glass cleaner. But have yet to find the perfect setup.
I'm seeing allot of good reviews on the Griot's PFM crinkle glass towels

Waffle weave cloth same as the Rag company but better price.

Mckee's 37 Cockpit cream for the windshield
ONR or G technique glass cleaner.
 
Ah...the search for perfect glass cleaning...the holy grail of detailing.

I actually don't think the cleaner matters that much, it's the towel, you want one that's going to dry effectively so as not to leave residue/streaking, and most importantly, not leave any lint, particularly on the windshield. I am a little less selective with the towel, if I'm doing side windows.

I have found all the smooth/diamond-weave towels to lint. Waffle weave is always a solid choice. The TRC FTW is very good. AF, in their way, has several innovative glass towels, as well as a twist weave that's like the FTW. Which AF towels did you not like, or did you not like the reacher tool?

I have also heard a lot of people recommend the Griot's crinkle towels. Maybe Autogeek will start carrying them, since they carry other Griot's towels.
 
PFM Crinkle + or for edge - tight clearances, smaller areas , the blue diamond TRC glass ones which are super thin.

I recalls lots of +++ review for the reacher. Not a fan. Too much bulk for those -hard to reach corners- where I can get to it far more easily with the thin diamond glass weave ones. It's not much of a reacher for me

I use 2 towels: low weave for initial then a waffle weave for final dry,.
 
Blue huck towels or Autofiber glass flip are my go to towels.

For cleaner Carpro Clarify (my go to before rinseless wash dilutions), ADS Hero at 128:1, Labcosmetica Nitido (only when used with the Autofiber towel it's awful with the huck towels), and Koch Chemie RRW at 128:1 are all good. Lately though it's been ADS Hero since it's what I have mixed in a spray bottle.

I've been really loving the Autofiber Flip GPT's as of late. They've got a long-pile weave on one side for the initial scrub, and a short-pile weave on the opposite side for the final buff.

I prefer them to a waffle weave - a la the TRC Dry Me a River. More absorbent and removes the need for two separate scrub/buff towels.

And I can stick my hand in them to do the side windows, too.
 
I am currently using Grants glass towels from Harbor Freight. As for the cleaner I use Totally Awesome Clsaning Vinegar diluted maybe 3:1. Works pretty good for me.
 
Glass cleaning does not have to be complicated or expensive. The bes combination that I have found is Stoner Invisible Glass and a Speed Master waffle weave towel. While the product is still wet, wipe it off with a small Griots PFM. A Zapcloth works well for interior glass as long as there is no heavy grime.
Once in a while I will use a Carpro Glassfiber towel.
 
Ha, that Sky's The Limit Fast Glass looks like the Zapcloth that Uncle Davy just mentioned.

Comments like these re: the Reacher....is what made me buy it
I thought it would make it easier getting into the corners, edges of the windshield running along the dash
Between the head+flip towels, profile is too much for me on workability. Far more easier just doing the old school way with a glass towel of choice...

Never ended up really trying it and just took the towels out that it came with.

Like LSP.....subjective so just try it since u have it....
 
Or you can just do like Patrick of Excel Detail (for you old school Autopians), and use a plastic spatula and fold the towel over it.

What was the other glass tool that had the elastic bonnets that went over it, did Stoner sell one? Sprayway? There were a few companies that sold the same one under their own names, and then a few knockoffs of that. I have one somewhere, I wonder where?

My main use for it is the rear window. I can't get my arms to bend the way I need them to in order to get into the corners. It makes it much easier using them in our sporty sedans, (Audi and BMW).
