Like usual, the snow/sleet was north of us. We live about where the jet stream often runs so if it shifts a little it makes all the difference in whether we get rain or snow. Net, the warm was moved higher than predicted.

Local schools had 2 hour delay because large sections of county are in a rural areas.
 
Today freezing fog. I have not heard that before but maybe just paying more attention to weather.
 
Woke up to a bit of snow, and it kept snowing from there until late morning. The weather says .25” but that’s not correct. I measured 2.5-3” in spots that had zero snow last night. Cleared that from the driveway and the sun came out for a bit later, dried most of the driveway right up.

Now it’s cold again. Already tired of winter *shakes fist at the sky*

Some winter weather fun.
I left work at 3:45, picked up my daughter from school (it's on my way home) and got home about 5:15. About 17 mile drive.

We had a dusting the other day and flurries yesterday. We rarely have anything before Christmas.
 
Just started snowing 45 minutes ago; supposedly 4-6 in next 24 hrs. Nice that it happened on a weekend for a change

57km/h wind gusts and showers 15c

Yesterday 23c 11 UV extreme and 15km/h wind. 😑
 
It is going to be very cold - down to 14 -- which is very low for us.
 
Another 12" of snow and -20 degrees outside this am. About 3' of snow on ground. Winter is here and it is going to we a white christmas
