A very pleasant 25C/77f today, a little rain in the middle of the day, mostly clear tonight. Orion is visible here too, upside down of course, phone set for a 6 second exposure, and placed on the retaining wall leaning against the fence to keep it steady. Bonus satellite passing through Orion.View attachment 139970

Lush green grass haven't see that since November. We hit 38.7C today, almost 102f, with the wind gusting to 50kmh and humidity down at 22%. I took this on this morning's walk, resting in the shade after having a swim. View attachment 139977

When they used to have it at Sydney Olympic Park I could hear it from our house in Ermington, I also drove the track a couple of times, while it was being set up. We could also hear the concerts at the Stadium, U2 was the loudest.38c out at Penrith for the Suppercars, is was "Free Friday" yesterday should of went.
Hopefully that's all we get here. According to ABC New York you are at the edge of the same 12-18"(locally up to 24") band as we are in, but NWS is still saying 14-22" between now and when it stops midday tomorrow. We have 2-3" so far.The snow has started. Forecast right now is for about a foot of snow.
