what's your weather currently like?

Walkies this afternoon in our favourite spot. With all the rain earlier in the week, the river has breached the banks and has begun flooding into the valleys. The walking track also doubles as a levy bank, with a separate path below that is now flooded out in spots. The bird life seems to be enjoying it though.









 
F'n Hot (at least for MN)

Today is day 5 of being 90F or above and we have a few more to go before it looks to (hopefully) drop down early next week.

Temp when I first got into the car today after work. It did cool down about 10 degrees when I started driving but still hot.

We still have heat, but now we have air quality alerts as well.
There are fires in northern MN and winds are blowing smoke down here (~150-200 miles).
This morning we recorded highest AQI ever.
Currently 'down' to 314. I think it was over 400 earlier today.

It's crazy, here in NJ we are at least 500 miles away from any of these forest fires, and yet it looks hazy outside and you CAN SMELL THE SMOKE.

This is the fun we have every summer in Colorado! It's bad when moving to India for clean air is no longer a joke.

We've followed-up weird winter with weird summer. It's super hot (high 90s daily), haven't seen rain in weeks, plenty of smoke, and the high temperatures hit from 4-6pm.

I miss 1990s Colorado. Hot as all day, 15min rainstorm at 3pm to cool it all down. Nice mild evenings...
