We got a great rain last night...over 2 inches in a few hours with a pop up thunderstorm. The grass seed should like that and fall like weather on the way.

We went from 35C/95f yesterday to 17/62 today, only 6mm of rain in the last 24h though, we need more than that.

33.5C/92f today, but only 24/75 when I took this while walking tonight, full moon tomorrow. Cool change tomorrow and maybe some rain in the afternoon.

We're supposed to be getting a Nor'easter here in the...well...Northeast US. Not sure how much is the now-usual news sensationalization and CYA warnings about having survival supplies, but we have already had some gusty winds overnight, we'll see how it goes, it's supposed to get worse later in the day and into tomorrow morning.

The cool change came through, 3am thunderstorm, so I get up and let the dogs in the garage, one loud clap of thunder and about 5 minutes of rain.

It was a hot day but there was a decent breeze. Cooler weather is forecasted next week. I plan to do a wash tomorrow am. Does not get light here now until around 7:30 but the sun is now lower so more shade in the morning for the wash,

Sunrise here has been around 5:30 this week, even with the blinds down it's really light, and if I manage to not wake up, the cat and dogs still do. But daylight savings starts this weekend, so sunrise will move to 6:30, and sunset will go from around 6 to 7, good for late afternoon washes.
