Question. I want my wheel arches to be black. I went to put megs endurance dressing on and its good, but it does fade. I was thinking something more long term like forever black or spray paint.

is spraying painting wheel wells a bad idea? Will it just look awful after a month or a year? what about 3 layers of clear coat over it. I would take the arches to paint it or just tape everything off and do it on the car.

also the croweling is badly faded on my car. i was thinking of using vinily/plastic spray paint. not sure how to take it off my 2002 sebring coupe.

Forever Black is a product alot of people in the VW community use for older, faded trim, with great success.

I just did a complete wheel well detail on my car and am working on a write up. I painted everything and it looks good. I used Krylon Fusion paint for plastic after some intensive cleaning.
Here's a teaser:

+1 on the UTTG

for OTC, Meg's Ultimate Protectant will work but you will have to reapply more often.

That cowl is hurting! Clean it well before application of anything

Use a liquid dye like forever black/showroom new on the cowl's to restore the black finish, then you can top with what ever dressings you like afterwards. For the wheel wells, you can do the same with the plastics and for everything else use 3m rubberized undercoating in a aerosol available at most automotive stores.
