Wheel cleaner

Hey guys what are some safe and good wheel cleaners that you guys are using.
Here's a photo of a buddies wheels with some heavy brake dust/ brakes got down metal to metal and looks like it burned into the paint.
What do you guys suggest to clean them.

Meguiars Dub wheel cleaner as you can find it local or another vote for P21s Wheel Gel even diluted apc(test on hidden spot first)
 
Safe: P21S, DP, or Griots

a little elbow grease and a brush is much safer than a harsh acid based wheel cleaner. Once wheels are etched they need reconditioning.

NEVER CLEAN WHEELS WHEN HOT !!
 
+1 on P21s Gel. Like it a lot. Just bought the CG Diablo to try - it smells amazing but can't tell you if good.
 
Definately a wheel cleaner with iron out or iron x as its main ingrediant. Ecotouch wheel cleaner,imo, won't touch that, neither will diablo. I have experience with both. I would go sonax wheel cleaner plus or auto finess iron out.
 
No matter which wheel cleaner you choose, remember thorough agitation is key.

Dont rely solely on an aggressive wheel cleaner to clean them up. :xyxthumbs:
 
I just use an APC, tried Sonax All Wheel, didn't make that much of a difference for my rims/brake dust output.
