I just received my new wheels for my Evo X yesterday. They are bronze Volk ZE40 which are more of a matte finish. With the Brembo brakes being so dusty I'd like to put some type of coating on them that won't increase gloss. Any good options?
And here's a pic of the wheels since I'm excited about getting them.

I use Gloss Coat on my MB weapon bronze winter wheels.

It gives them a nice shine/gloss but they still look matte.
Clean up is a beading breeze.

CQuartz or CQ DLUX will add significant protection without adding gloss. Each coating will "enhance" the finish and slightly darken the finish but it will not add any sheen or gloss.

Here are some pics of some matte finish wheels I've coated over the last year. All of these were coated w/ either CQuartz, CQuartz FINEST, or DLUX (can't remember at this point which ones are which). The Sparco rims off a new Ford Focus RS are probably the clearest picture to demonstrate absolutely zero gloss after coating.

Thanks for the suggestions. Anyone have any experience with the Gyeon Q2 Rim?

My OZ wheels are stated as matte but more like a satin finish and I recently did a simple wipe down with Opti Seal. My car produces mad quantity of brake dust and the OS has definitely helped at clean-up. It did add an ever so slight amount of sheen to the finish but nothing all that noticeable.

Stick with a dedicated wheel coating, they are made to be much more resistant to the high heat of brake dust than paint coatings. Dr. Beasley has some good stuff for matte paint care, probably one of the most dedicated matte product manufacturers out there, although Gyeon also makes great stuff period.

Yup I use it all the time for customers rims. I apply 2 coats for excellent coverage.

I have also applied 3 layers of Gyeon MOHS to rims and have see excellent results.

A new product that I have been testing is Kamikaze Stance Rim Coating which is very slick with great results.

Gyeon TIRE is also an excellent tire dressing for those that do not want a water based or Silicone based tire protection. Gyeon tire leaves a nice clean DARK black tire with a little shine and does NOT SLING and its lasts.
