Morning everyone. Wanted some opinions on wheel coatings. The wheels will be brand new when coated and off the vehicle. They are gloss black.

Best option for looks & protection....

GTechniq C5
GTechniq EXOv3
a combo of both

I know C5 is the dedicated wheel coating but the new EXO seems like it could be just as good. Thoughts?
 
Dedicated wheel coatings will always be better. A better look will probably be exo v3 ontop of c5.
 
If you can take the wheels off, then take the time to use a dedicated wheel coating. Otherwise, use Hydro Blue, Wet Coat or HydrO2 to spray on the wheels and coat. Of course, you can place a dedicated coating on a wheel that is still mounted -- it's just more difficult and time consuming.
 
I used C5 earlier this year. Very happy so far. Spend the time to prep (chemical decon and clay) and the application is very fast.

C5 is really nice. Works very well as a stand alone product.
