So I did a search and really couldn't come up with anything. What do people suggest for inside the wheel wells? A good APC and something to treat the plastic liners inside the wheel well?

Thanks in advance.

i use a small bucket with some car wash in it, this brush (have both the small and long handle) some APC (opc or megs), and spray some water-based dressing (1:3) and it dries without having to touch it...

CG Bare Bones.

Yeah, Bare Bones works, just don't treat youir wheel wells in your driveway, or garage, unless you like seeing drips all over your pavement.

It's a product I've found that doesn't last that long, not much better than taking a spray can of no touch foam tire spray.

Drips ... I am not fond of drips.. Going to pull the wheels and really get in there so I can scrub them down good but I want to leave them looking good.

If you are going to pull your wheels and get the wells squeaky clean, then use Ultima Tire and Trim Guard or Car Pro Dlux. Car Pro Perl also looks good, but will not last.

APC, stiff brush on the wells to clean, then Meg hyperdressing 3:1.

I clean with mothers fender brush and cg all clean... never dress cause you can't see them on mine. Brush barely fits... my hand? yeah right.

Use AllClean+ and then spritz CG Bare Bones. It doesn't last long but on my old fender liners it makes a good difference. Most certainly required after each wash, if you prefer.

I find an APC is usually unnecessary, I've been doing my wheels/wells with a bucket of ONR lately and it seems to work even better than normal car soap. I also treat my fender liners with UTTG+

:xyxthumbs: I use megs hyper dressing. 4:1 Spray On Walk Away.

LA's TA works well for all Wells for me. Can dilute if these cleaning strength is needed. Most apc will work jet as well, and isn't as big a deal which one you use since mechanical cleaning(touch) is going to be more effective in most situations. Pulling the wheels for the initial detailed cleaning is best/easiest. I mostly use a green brush with feathered bristles, a round tip detail brush, a stiff bristled brush for flatter more stubborn surfaces, and low grade MFs to do a final wipe and get tight areas. A damp MF alone will be one of the most effective tools in most scenarios. For tar, asphalt, grease, road paint, and sticky/gooey substances I use Tar-X or 3M citrus cleaner(aerosol). Using a wheel sealant on fender wells and components behind the wheel last long than a traditional wheel well protectant, and can allow things to stay cleaner longer, and clean easier. Otherwise, water based tire dressing will do a respectable job.

An easy thing to do is use one of those foaming tire sprays...it wont last long, but it will make the wheel well plastic look good for a little while with no effort.

I wash them with some left over soapy water and a Mothers fender well brush, then dress with Griots undercarriage spray.
