Wheelin the paint on a Proweler...


Looks like someone wheeled the paint on this Prowler. The holograms or "rotary buffer swirls" in the paint were horrendous, almost looks like someone did it on person to give the paint a "swirl design".

This Prowler was driving by so it was hard to get a great shot so here's what I did get but I think you get the idea...

Some people cringe when they see the "Mud Handshake" from the truck commercial, some cringe when they hear of a guy who washes his entire car with the glass squeegee at the gas pump.

I cringe when I hear someone say..."I'm gonna be in the garage "Wheelin my Paint" this weekend"....

My mind automatically goes to what I consider to be a tool for "Wheelin" which to me is one of these...

Perhaps it's an old school term or something, but every time I hear it the hairs stand up on the back of my neck.

It's definitely an old school term and whenever I hear someone tell me,

• I use a wheel
• I used wheel cars
• I'm going to wheel my car

Etc. ad nausum... I know he's either an old dude or a a young guy that was taught how to wheel by an old dude.

For the record, I've never used the term "wheelin" to describe my work.
