Is there a way to clean all the junk off of the circle thing that the brake is on?

the rotors ? the front/back except the very top and very bottom should be dang shiny . with no grooves worn in them , otherwise got to have them turned down if u can , what's on them u want to clean ?

Use some APC that should work wonders that what I do to clean the rotors and It works like a charm

You could try an iron removing product such as Sonax Full Effect, Griots Heavy Duty Wheel Cleaner, 1Z Colourtec, etc to remove the iron deposits on addition to using a good APC.
