I was wondering when it is safe to bring your chemicals that were stored away for the winter back to the garage or shed? I know certain polishes and chemicals freeze in extreme cold and I was wondering at what temperature it is OK to bring them back out.

I wait till it stays above 32 Fahrenheit. It may be a while this year!

For me they don't go back to the garage till its 40 overnight consistantly

When the temps are no longer below 32F. It is currently 12 in PA. Really?

12 degrees in Milwaukee today. So ready to get out and do a spring detail, but the way things are going it looks like I'll have to wait until the middle of July.

I started bringing mine out last weekend. My garage stays about 10-15 degrees warmer than the outside temp.

This for me too. But my polishes, waxes, sealants, coating and clay stay in the house all year:dblthumb2:

I'd wait till temps are above freezing over night at the earliest.

I'd keep as many as you can inside year round. Especially the ones not used often; compounds, polishes, sealants, coatings, expensive waxes...

I'd see no problem having the soaps, APCs, dressings and spray waxes outside.

And give each product a good shake to mix the ingredients as your transferring them. :xyxthumbs:

19* in NE Ohio this morning. Same as most, they don't go back outside until the temps are warm enough for detailing.

What about on the high end? Is there a certain temperature that it's bad to have them in the summer. I know it can get into the high 90's where I live.
