Never tried it before, bought some to use. Question is: Apply after a wash and before claying?

I suggest you apply it before the wash. The dirt on the car will prevent the product from running off, it will stick to the dirt and give it more time to work on the iron particles.

Then after about 5 minutes you can power wash it all off before doing your normal wash routine.

However you do it it should be sprayed on a dry car to avoid dilution. Sometimes ill go to the laser wash before starting a detail just to knock the loose dirt off
