I'm looking to do my interior, I'll be using the following cleaners and protectant:

Detailer Pro's All Interior Cleaner
Detailer Pro's Interior Protectant

Now my question is, where does quik interior detailer get to this process?

It sort of replaces both.

Its not as strong as either but it does it in one step. If you have a well maintained interior with just dust and light soil QID will clean and then leave some protection behind.

QID is basically like a QD but for the interior. great for when the dash/door panels are a little dusty/dirty and need a little wipedown. I don't count on it for protecting, though it may leave a little something behind. i don't like dressing the dash so something like this fits the bill well...

Meguiars QID is nice for maintaining well cleaned interior.
I use it on everything for interior including nav screen and leather.

I use it on interiors that have light dust.
I'm addicted to the scent.

It doesnt. Megs int QD is really a stand alone product. If you are needing a deeper clean or are wanting a pronounced shine with a dressing, leave it on the shelf.

You picked up a great product in the DP INTERIOR PROTECTANT. All i use. The megs interior QD is used for touch ups. Or stand alone. Try it on the IP plastic. Does great there!

I use QID on the dashboards of vehicle I detail. But I was thinking about using something that will keep them more protected with some shine. Any recommendation? I know Meguiars has natural shine. How well does it work and is it very shiny. Not looking for to much shine.

Pro4x, said it already. DP interior protectant is what you're looking for.

Use Meguiar’s Quik Interior Detailer any time you
want to clean and protect the vehicle's cabin area. :xyxthumbs:

The natural shine has just enough shine and smells great

Thanks all, I bought myself a bottle of UQID. I'll just use them for quick touch ups and if there are any dusts laying around. Other than that, I'll focus on the DP cleaner and protectant. Cheers!

Topping QID with Natural Shine is a good combo. I use that myself. Natural shine will darken the interior just a bit and it is shiny. Apply Natural Shine with a microfiber applicator and it will knock down the shine. Same if you were to apply it with a foam applicator and follow up with a light buff after a few min.

QID has a light cleaning ability so over time it would remove DP protectant. Would work very well if the interior is lightly soiled and then top off with a fresh coat of DP protectant.

I see, but will QID remove Natural Shine as well?

Yeah eventually. Untouched Natural Shine should last about a month. About the same as the DP Protectant

Alright then, I'll just use my QID somewhere else, probably some of my friend's ride because I'd want to maintain the DP coatings on my vehicle.

Bump. I love this stuff. Very little shine (more OEM appearance) and cleans just enough. I've been wiping down the engine bay plastics with it too. I like the way this stuff looks.

The Megs Quik Interior Detailer is good for touch ups and it does leave a bit of protection behind. I use it once a week for light dusting and it keeps in the interior clean. For a thorough cleaning and proper protection, you should use a dedicated APC like Megs D101 and a good protectant like 303.
