Where to store MF towels?

Ok. so I am building a good collection of quality MF towels. The wrap they come in is not good enough to hold them cause its too thin or small. So what do you guys store them in so they dont get touched or damaged?
 
I store mine in clear plastic storage boxes, and keep the boxes in one of my detailing cupboards. :)
 
I use plastic totes as well. get ones with a locking top so you can try to keep as much environmental dust/dirt etc out of the tote and off of the towels
 
How about an old dresser with a lot of drawers? I been using the ones the kids had when they were small children.
 
I bought that rolling white thing from wally-world with the clear plastic drawers in it. I think it's made by sterilite. I then placed that in the bottom of my detailing cabinet out in the garage.

Protected from the elements outside, in the garage, and in the cabinet. Can't figure a better way to do it then that.
 
Whatever you do make sure you get something that you can grow into. At the time I bought something that would fit all my towels that I had up to that point. I quickly realized I needed more space to put all the towels I kept buying. I would recommend a large tote with a big lid.

How's the lining in the drawers? Is it rough wood or laminated wood? Particles from the non-coated wood can get into the MF towels, so the plastic storage containers are better. But if you're dealing with poly-coated laminate, I'd just clean those drawers out really well before putting towels in them.
 
I also use the large totes with clasp handles. The big box retailers have the extra large ones. I have two and they fit a lot. Easy to add another one if the collection grows. I like these better than the rolling plastic cabinet drawers. The tote fits more, and feels more sturdy to me.

I have the same. I took the casters off and have it in my metal detailing cabinet.

I have clear, plastic totes for mine.
Each one houses a different purpose MF.

No worries running out of room... I just buy more totes :dblthumb2:
 
I use Sterilite plastic containers from Wal-Mart because the click latches in the handles let's me know it's closed & sealed and the containers are stackable.
This allows me to put them up high when not in use but each container's contents is easily identifiable with little risk of dumping the contents on the ground.

I throw mine in the washer with what ever detergent my wife has at the time. Hot water and double rinse. Then put them in the dryer on medium heat. Use them over and over, can't tell them from new.

Store them in cabinets with doors. They stay clean and work fine. I am getting another cabinet tomorrow, the ones I have are full.
 
All my good MFs are in clear clasp handled totes. Same for good pads and applicators. My general purpose MF, pads and applicators go in the drawers. Too much dust for drawers to keep out it out imo.
 
I have these but I got junk in them probably bc it was wide open ( not in a cabinet ) and I blew my garage out
:( also bc I drag my lawn mower in and out!

Dr pain do yours fit in the sams cabinet?
 
The styrofoam coolers that come with your Omaha Steak orders. Mark the outside sides as to what towels are in each and stack them up. They are clean, no smell, thick walled and lids are secure. Depending on your order size, the coolers come small, medium or large.

This assumes of course that you ever order much from this company. I did for a long time although that has dropped off lately due to price increases, but I still get some fair deals on sales and specials now and then. I probably have 30 of those coolers up in my attic and use them for all kinds of stuff.
