Where's That Backing Plate?...

So where's that backing plate thats always on the Flex PE-14 in the pictures? That would be pretty sweet if its a for real life backing plate.

The Flex Backing plate? I think it was a 14mm backing plate and it's only available in Europe?

Where there is a will there is a way. On another forum I am on someone managed to get a hard flex case as he did not like the vinyl one that is readily available.

I think he ultimately contacted flex and they sold him one directly... might want to try that route. Forewarning though, its flex so expect it to be $$. I think that case was about $170ish just to give you an idea.

Thanks for the info. I'm cool with the bag. It's pretty sweet. I think I can fit both my PC and Flex in it. I want that backing plate!

I was just using the box as an example of someone being able to get ahold of something from flex that is not typical or distributed here in the states. ;) I like the bag too. If it were a little bigger I swear a small person could fit in there and I would all of a sudden have cheaper airfare.

Wanted: Person under 100lbs and is somewhat of a contortionist. Need to want to fly in the same direction I am, stay for the duration I am, pay half my airfare and not mind being tossed around like checked luggage. True...you're right about the box. And the bag...that thing is nice and roomy. I guess I can see why someone would want the box though. They may want it more secure.

Lmao @ the Craigslist ad that's hilarious!
 
What is so special about this BP? Or do u just like that it has Flex printed on it?

Mainly yeah....cause it looks sweet, but if its a functional and good backing plate, it would be nice to have
