Which Dr ColorChip package should I use for this?

I don't know how this happened. I drive my car in the winter so I guess its from gravels and stuff off the road. It wasn't there last summer but when I went to clean my car up good after winter was over I noticed it. You can't see it unless it is in direct sunlight.

This picture was taken two days ago and you'd never know it was there. I'm going to get Dr ColorChip for it and I'm wondering which one I should get, will the basic be enough or should I get the road rash kit?
 
The road rash kit is pretty big. I got it and did my entire front bumper (then took it all off but that's another story) and have about 2/3 of the bottle left.
 
Didn't think people drove those in the winter. I guess it can be alright if the car is winter proof. I just started to drive my 89 Beretta GT (loaded grand Turing package) in the winter,(never been driven in the winter before.) its a 5 speed manual. I would like to convert it to a RWD and drop a LS2 into it.

Anyways I change the rims, and take of the Megan Carbon fiber spoiler. and I use wolfgang wax. The bottom of the car is coated with POR-15 color coat, which is like 3 layers of protection. That stuff is amazing they use it on marines ships to reflect salt and it last a life time. Won't chip, crack or fade. It's stronger than RHINO bedding. So my car is winter proof and it will never rust because of it. But I can't see people driving there nice cars in the winter with out making sure they are winter proof against road salt. Since I live in NY we don't get much summer so in order to enjoy driving my car I had to choice to spend the money to winter proof it against road salt. The wax is the most important, because since half the body has a metal shell it can rust. So the Wolfgang wax should protect it.

Just a heads up on that POR-15 you should check it out.

I keep wax on it all the time. Its been through 3 winters and this is the first thing I've noticed wrong with it. I got mud flaps on it now so once I get it fixed it shouldn't happen again. I wasn't going to do anything about it because unless the sun is shining directly on that part of the car you can't see it but now I think I'm going to try dr colorchip.
 
i wouldnt get the dr. colorchip for my black grand prix 2dr. i spent $60 on that kit and i wasnt impressed at all what so ever.
 
Sounds like your going to have spend good money on a good solution to remove those road derbies. The mud flaps would definitely help. I would put those on my car, but I don't believe they would look nice on my vehicle.

I will say this much when I worked at a dealer ship and we dealt with cars like this. I would use scrub pad, or a power washer to remove road debris or tar. Don't push down to hard on the scrub pad and a hand held razor lightly, also if you use a power washer be careful on putting it to close or you can rip the paint right off the car.

I remember this BMW came in with tar all over it. The tar just wouldn't come off even with the razor. So I was like f*** it and used steal wool all over the entire car. That day I was fired because they had to repaint the car before they can sell it. It was at this car auction place. The job really sucked anyways, this was like years ago.

Please wash that beast and don't forget the wheel wells ;)
 
Try this, it's like a hard sponge but soft. I remember also using something like this. Don't be afraid to use a lot of pressure, this should take of the road debris with good soap.

Besides the Dr. ColorChip kits, the Langka, and Touch-Up-123 kits come to mind. Also, the dealership probably has a mobile paint repair service that visits them at least one day week. See if you can talk to them--not the dealership personnel--they may advise you in this matter.

It had just been washed two days before that top pic lol. Black cars are a PITA sometimes but I love it when its clean.
