i have the greenworks 1.3gpm pressure washer and yet again i've bought the wrong fitting.

first it was the karcher one and the kranzle one doesn't even fit on the nozzle. so which fitting is it? i'm thinking its the kew or lavor.

You're looking for a fitting to use a foam cannon? I have that same PW. I forget what the name of it is, but I know I have another one in my tool box that I don't need.

Any big box home improvement store should have what you need, which is a 1/4 in. Male to NPT Connector. It looks like the silver one in this pic. I have the 1500 psi Greenworks machine, too. It should have the female quick connector on the end of the wand (unless you got one of the oddball ones that had a proprietary connector). That will accept the non-threaded end of this connector. The threaded end will screw into the cannon.

Hope this helps!

The end of your wand looks like this one, right?

yes its that power washer.

07sti how much do you want for it? ill have to go to menards or something and see if they have any available. yeah i took off the wand and didnt fit with the threads. it was too large.

shouldn't it have threads on both ends? i'll just bring it with me to the hardware stores and check them out but thanks for all the responses. please leave more replies if that'll point me in the right direction

I have the 1700 GPM like Visitor. But I bought my foam cannon from chemical guys and it came with the fitting that CaveRacing showed. Which is 3/8 male to quick connect

I'm almost certain that you want 1/4", not 3/8". All of the spray tips and nozzles are 1/4" and you want to be able to disconnect the cannon and connect a spray tip.

Why would you want threads on both ends? Only one end needs threads...to screw into the cannon. Use Teflon tape to prevent leaking. Once installed, it stays. Then you just quick connect it to the wand.

Just take the pw gun and cannon to HD/Lowes and find the fitting that you need...

Yes, it's that simple! It took me a whole 3 mins....

i am thinking its a 5/8th to a 3/8th i sersiously hate fittings. so 5/8th into the wand out to a 3/8th to another 3/8th ro a quick disconnect or something. whatever lmao ill try them when i get home.

It isn't. You're making this way more difficult than it is. They make 3/8" and 1/4". The fitting that goes into the cannon (the silver one in the picture above) is a 1/4" NPT. Here is the quick disconnect kit below. The coupler end will attach to the end of the wand, assuming you have the standard quick-disconnect wand with your Greenworks. In fact, it should already have it on there. That's how you connect the different spray tips. Lowes did sell a different 1500 PSI Greenworks Pressure Washer online. For the most part, it looked the same, but the end of the wand was different. I have no idea why they did this, but they did.

trying to find a fitting that connects to the wand. 5/8 to a 1/4

or even a 3/8 to a 1/14

couldnt find a 3/8 male to 1/4 male so that was what i did. fitting on fitting on fittings.

i dont think the male to the quick release has enough threads for the wand. hence why i kind of had to adapt. yeah i can see that and makes the wand heavy. ill try again tomorrow for a 1/4 to a quick D/C.

leaks maybe but i put teflon tape on each thread and have yet to test it. -6 degrees here

Based on your pic, it appears you are attempting to shorten the wand. The wand on the Greenworks 1500 splits into two pieces. There's the piece that is attached to the trigger and then the last piece which should already have a quick-connect coupler on it.

See this pic:

Greenworks 1500-PSI 1.3-GPM Cold Water Electric Pressure Washer

It looks like you are trying to connect your cannon (or whatever attachment) to the middle of the wand (where the two pieces connect). Is this the case?

If you're trying to use a shortened wand, why not just get a new trigger, put a short piece of threaded brass pipe, and then connect a quick-connect coupler. That's what I did. I didn't like having a long wand and this way, you have less of a chance of failure since you won't have so many connections.

mine didnt come with that. i just have the wand for water and the other for the goam gun. i think it was the 1300 model. not the 1500. but i do understand the more fittings more likely to fail. trigger never came w a fitting

1500* tested it out nothing. quick release qasnt able to push water through it. took that fitting off and couldnt get the foam cannon to work and just ended up spraying myself.

did it w the wand and without and now i am stuck.
