Wondering what pads would be best (I have Lake Country 5½ flat pads for Autos) for cleaning, polishing and waxing gel coat. First time doing a boat. Gel coat is in pretty good shape and doesn't seem to need alot of correction.

For products I have Collinite Boat Cleaner #920, Meguiars #45 Marine Polish and for wax I have Megs Premium Flagship Wax.

fYI, I currently have Orange, white and Black LC pads and I use a Griots Garage 6 DA. Would these work fine?

I think this article will help you answer your question.

Yeah, I'm aware of what the correct pads would be if we were talking about auto paint, but gel coat being much harder, I wasn't sure if the same pads would work or not for the same intended purpose.

As I stated I'm not looking to do much if any correction, but more or less a good cleaning followed by a good polish and lastly a good wax application. From what I can tell the orange, white and grey LC pads would probably be just fine.
