Which LSP for Honda CRV

Hello,

I am ready to put on the lsp for my sisters crv. She uses the automatic car wash which actually leaves a nice finish on her car.

This is what I have on hand and narrowed down to, unfortunately that’s not everything I have. the car is deep red. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Cqartz coating
Pinnacle paint coating
Polymer net shield
Optimum car wax
Mckees Krystal Diamond
Mckees Paint Sealant
Mckees 10 minute paint sealant
Griots garage poly wax

Is it touchless or the one with the spinning brushes and cloth slapping the paint?

I use touchless when it's real bad cold and salty out, from your list I've used Sonax Polymer Net shield. I've gotten close to 1 year with it.

Let’s see:
Unless you are going to do the necessary
paint prep...the Coatings are out.

From the others listed, I’d go with
Optimum Car Wax. It has patented
UV absorbers, et al.

Hi Bob,

All the prep is done. All I need to do is the panel wipe if I’m doing a coating.

I would use whichever needs to be used up first prior to expiration (unless you know you will use these up afterwards). Therefore Cquarts, Mckees Coating, PBL Coating, I assume. And coatings seem good to resist the harsh wash chemicals in the long term.

Then you could top with Krystal Diamond or Mckees 10 Minute if time isn’t a factor. These might help etching issues before they die away in the upcoming washes.

Thank you for replies. If I used pinnacle coating can i top that with with wolfgang sio2 spray? I like using that over 10 minute paint sealant.

I.) I’ve heard people say that they
top Coatings so they can get away
from an “overcritical” S.O.

A.) My S.O. is never “overcritical”.
1.) Therefore I don’t top Coatings.

B.) YMMV
