Which polishing pads to use?

Hi, I am new to polishing and my question pertains to the choice of polishing pads for the Meguiar's DA Version 2. Can Hex Logic pads 6,5 inches be used with this polisher? I have the original backing plate that comes with the DA version 2. I would be very grateful if you could recommend solid polishing pads besides the Meguiars Soft Buff ones.

You can use any 6.5"" pads with that packing plate. If you need pads the hydro tech pads are good along with the flat pads.

I would however recommend you look at 5.5" pads as these size pads are much easier to use and are easier to keep moving and rotating which is were you get the correction.

I really like the Hex Logic Pads. The pads Evan.J recommended are very good as well. If you go to the 5.5" pads you'll need a 5" backing plate.

I believe the 5.5" pads will be easier for you to control and result in better performance.

Thank you both for clarifying things for me. I think I am going to go with Hex Logic pads this time and evaluate them thoroughly before trying out the other ones.
