Hello all,
I am wanting to get another gallon of quick wax and out of the three I am looking at, I've used Optimum spray wax, and Meguiars Quik Wax but have never tried Duragloss Aqua Wax. Any suggestions and let me know why you like it best, also if you've ever Poly Charged it.

Thanks a bunch!

Tom

My vote goes to Duragloss Aqua Wax, until I try the new Meg's Synthetic Spray Wax.

I currently use Mothers Reflections Spray Wax. I compared it to the Meguiars QW and on a black car, the Mothers gives a much richer, wetter look. All of my other waxes and polishes are Megs.

I use pinnacle souvervan spray wax. I love it, it has a super easy application that yields great results.

When you say meguiars quik wax, do you mean meguiars ultimate quik wax?
Yes, sorry for the confusion, I should have said UQW, but was more specifically looking at the new detailer line SSW.

Thanks everyone for the replies, just dont know which one to pull the trigger on. I want to use it as a drying aid, but also want the longest lasting, best looking wax... I know, I dont want much... ;)

I don't think spray waxes were designed to be replacements for regular waxes, so durability really shouldn't be measured in my opinion.

:iagree:Application is indeed very user friendly also looks fantastic over BFWD sealant.

I use Meguiars UQD, but it's not a sprayWAX as I look on upon it... I use UQD as drying aid in summer and UQW in winter :)

Optimum Spray Wax and Pinnacle Souverän Liquid Spray Wax gets my vote for sure. I've used both of these and I'm still amazed how well they work and how long they last. :props:

I'm in the OCW camp at the moment myself; though I'm thinking of giving the Meg's UQW a try in its Detailer line form once I run out of OCW.

Absolutely, Aquawax for me. However, I've used Eagle One when I ran out of AW and found it to be pretty good in a pinch.

I love Aquawax.

I love Optimum Car Wax.

I have and use both...but they give slightly different looks. The Aquawax is bright, reflective and wet. OCW gives a deeper look, more carnauba like (as it does have carnauba in it) and is also wet looking.

If I had to choose between the two, it would depend on what color the car was that I was going to use it on.

Generally speaking, Aquawax for lighter colors, OCW for darker colors.

I prefer DG AW with Polycharger H2O. Corey's review validates my observations. His test panel is proving Polycharger adds durability. OCW cant be boosted with PC H2O according to the AG chart. That surprised me . I thought it was H2O based. I have not used UQW. Pinnacle & 4 Star are superb, but cost much more.

I have found Quick-n-Slick from CroftgateUSA to be excellent. It's not cheap but a little goes a long way. Very easy to use. Looks nice at first, then after it cures for about 24 hours it looks great.

The 3 that stick out in my mind are DG AW, Optimum Car Wax, and Pinnacle Souveran liquid spray wax. I like each for a different reason and if price is in mind the I would choose from OCW or DG AW.

I would o agree with this towards most spray waxes but the Optimum Car wax lasts and lasts and contains UV protection.

I prefer DG AW with Polycharger H2O.

I agree with Jim. The Polycharger really adds to Aquawax's slickness and probably durability as well.

I'm going to try that Four Star Spray wax someday but I need to use up some of the other products I have. Any friend of Ultima is a friend of mine :) I know it'll be good.

I think you need some 4 Star to test. I can arrange that! Ultima needs a Spray Wax!
