What type of "wash" are you looking to do ? None of your options listed is a conventional "wash", the Megs and CG are wash & shine type products and the Griot's is a rinseless wash.

No, the Griot's is conventional soap. And a very good one. I have some and really like it. Just not quite as good as my HW......
My bad. When I searched the AG store for " griot's brilliant finish", the only thing that came up was the rinseless version. Only by using SkyNet was I able to find the AG listing for the regular "brilliant finish" car wash. Weird.
I used to go that route—but not anymore!just a wash and shine type of wash
for my daily.
^^^:iagree:Meg's HyperWash.
I've had some good results in the past with Stoner's Visible Shine Coating Wash. Cleaning power is decent for a wash & wax is decent and lubricity is decent as well.
The protection it leaves behind on the paint is very good when compared to other wash & wax products that are offered OTC. I attached a beading pic for reference.![]()

HyperWash has great suds, smells good, is highly concentrated, etc.........
None of these qualities are unique to HyperWash, but here is my one reason for always recommending it:
Before I tried HW, I would wash/clay my truck before polishing in the spring, and always notice how my pads picked up some form of dirt (In the form of "blackness" on the pad face). I always just assumed that a wash soap or clay could not remove all of the grime, and by using a machine, it was the thing that removed that last 1% or so.
Since I have used HW as my soap (and lube for my synthetic clays) my pads have zero "blackness" on them that I experienced with the other soaps.
An eye-opening difference to me on just how good this soap is.

Interesting. I wonder what the "special sauce" is in HW ? I looked up all the ingredients via their CAS#'s (Chemical Abstracts Service #) and nothing stands out ... just a bunch of common surfactants and fragrances.
Hmm..... It could be that I spilled a modicum of an Anheuser Busch product into it.
That has happened to me in the past......
Have you tried the HW?
I haven't tried HW but I will give it a go when I run out of my Optimum.
Not going to try the AB "additive" though, that stuff is swill and I only use it for killing slugs in the garden.oke:
