Really metallic and brilliant:

After I clay it and check it over, which one of my waxes/sealants in my arsenal would you use? Bear in mind that my objective is (what else?) to make the metallic color POP.

I've got, in no particular order:
Collinite 845
Meguiars White Wax
Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0
Pinnacle Souveran liquid Wax
Turtle Wax Ice (lol)

I'm also not opposed to topping one with the other, but remember I ain't rich.

Okay, go...

I'd go for the WDGPS, maybe topped with the liquid souveran for showroom pop

BTW, what color is the flake in that paint? Is that anything like that Moonstone color Cadillac had a few years ago?

Yes, it is.. But the base coat is darker and there's about 10x as much metal flake.. The flake is very silvery...

I think the Moonstone had gold flake in it...I can't really remember but I know I wanted a car that color!

The problem is once you get that popping it will fly off the showroom floor and then you will have to prep another one!

I realize that GM dealerships in different regions of the country
have limited/designated GM "protection plans"...BUT:

Do you guys offer any of the following products in your region?

Talk about making something POP!!
:wow:

SIMONIZ® GLASSCOAT/System 5

DuPont™ Automotive Protection Package

Xzilon® Molecular Adhesion..ULTIMATE APPEARANCE PROTECTION

WDGP because its a sealant, sealants always give more "pop" over a nuba and yeah, that color has A LOT of metallic, WOW!

Sent from my SPH-M930 using AG Online

I too would go with WDGPS 3.0 topped with Souveran

Sealants make metallic "pop"? Really? Interesting... I had thought it would be the opposite! You guys really think I should do the WGDGPS instead of just doing a coat of Souveran?

No, Bob, we don't offer anything like that.. We also don't offer undercoating or fabric guard or scratch and dent insurance or wheel/ tire road hazard.. Just cars, warranties, life and health insurance and Gap insurance when it's necessary..

I know, how do we make any money, right? lol

Yeah, it's kinda light dependent... But a beautiful color, for sure! And I can only hope that this car just flies off the showroom, cause that means were selling!! :)

Here's another close up of the color.. You can also see the little dollop of sap or whatever just to the left of the nearest light on the panel..

These speckles were all over the car as well as some nasty water spots, I focused the light source in the center of one, here:

I used a 4 inch pad and UC by hand to remove those.. Finished down well enough that a follow up of UP doesn't appear to be necessary.

I'm still on the fence about the WGDGPS though... Someone convince me of why it's better than just a simple coat of Pinnacle? Will it really make the metallic pop more?

Sealants=more reflection (generally). More reflection=wow factor for buyers.

My wifes car is Attitude Black Metallic (Toyota). It kind of reminds me of this. Carnuba tends to dull down the flakes in my opinion.

Interesting.... I was of the exact opposite opinion, for some reason? Is it possible that I've read too much and am confusing myself? Hmmm....
