I have a decent amount of white scratches on my black car that I would like to make less visible. Attached are some pictures of the scratches. Would these be able to be removed or am I just going to have to live with them? View attachment 19961

You should be able to compound and polish those out pretty well. So long as your fingernail doesn't catch on it.

Thanks for your help, some catch my fingernail while most don't. I'm happy to know that most of them can be removed. Do I need to both compound and polish or should polish remove/ make less visible? I just ordered some pinnacle paintwork cleansing lotion the other day during the pinnacle sale to remove some old wax buildup on my dads car. Do you think this will help reduce the appearance of the scratches on my car?

I used the poorboys line up. But I'm thinking about adding something like a glaze to help hide them more.

Some of those will polish out quite easily while the deeper ones may remain but you should be able to improve their appearance with a little work.

Do you have any products or detailing equipment on hand?
Will you be working by hand or do you have a polisher similar to Porter Cable's 7424xp?

I work by hand and the only products I have on hand are wash, clay, meguiars 7 and gold class wax
