I just washed my motorcycle and used SuperClean degreaser on the calipers, and wheels. But now I have white spot etching all over the calipers, and bottom of the forks. What can I do to get rid of it, or did I screw it over? I tried to re-apply scrub and rinse off quickly, but that didn't work. I need some help because I starting to freak out thinking I wrecked my baby.

The cleaner you used is caustic and it etched the aluminum. you'll need to polish it out with an aluminum polish. If it's bad, you'll need to sand (2-3,000, wet) first' then repolish.

From their website:

Avoid prolonged contact with aluminum and painted surfaces. Avoid any contact with exterior car surfaces, motorcycles, wheels, and glass. Wear rubber gloves and eye protection. Rinse thoroughly. Do not allow to dry on any surface. Dispose of cleaning residue in accordance with local, state and federal laws and regulations.

What dilution ratio did you use?

Edit- I meant, with a pH of 13, it was alkaline, and etched/stained the aluminum.

Where's the edit button?

I think you only have 10minutes to edit your post. There's an expiration to editing. :)
