Still new at this guys, but if a rotary would be faster using bigger pads why do the pros still use a DA & smaller pads?
There are a lot of people who do not want to run the risk of using a rotary. (burning paint) Despite the enormous taboo that rotaries have earned, as long as you have a head on your shoulders and practice good technique, you will do fine with a rotary. However it is much harder to finish with a rotary 100%. That is, no micro marring, buffer trails, etc.. Especially with very soft paints, a DA is just going to make your day easier.![]()

rotary buffer will always leave holograms behind unless you follow up with a polish, i like the pc better because its so safe and takes out scratches sometimes better then my rotary!!! it all depends on you in the end of the day your car/truck will come out nice using the 2
