I now officially have my car at school (Pepperdine University) which I reluctantly agreed to in order for my parents to situate the garage which can hold 3 cars but one of the bays has all our surplus moving stuff.
A view from my room (must have the car in my sights at all times lol.)

This past weekend, I made sure the car had a copious amount of protection from the elements (applied over 3 days). But even though it is Socal, it rained again today and this is the result:

Products:

-Paint was prepped
-1 layer of Collinite 915
-2 layers of Pinnacle Signature Series II

And finally, I have been testing 303 Fabric Guard on my roof and it looks like the one layer I applied is giving up after 5 months:

I know that beading is not necessarily desirable for some in terms of water spots and layering may not be beneficial but I am a sucker for nice beading which is what Sig Series II is great at. Just thought I would share, because I love beading!

Nice beads indeed...now make a necklace out of them.

Thanks everyone!

Very nice Christian...gotta love the bead!

Haha, yes sir. I found myself looking at how the other cars were beading in the parking lot on my way to my car, and I can safely say that my car holds the crown right now! I lead a sad life, I know...

I will try, might be a bit difficult though. ;)

Anyone used Collinite 915 vs. one of Dodo Juice's hard waxes? Would love to hear which one offers better protection.

EDIT: forgot to mention, GORGEOUS BEAD

Nice photography work.

I haven't tried the 303 Protectant yet but it could be you just need to add a fresh application and maybe apply 2-3 applications the next time you treat the top.

I have been using the RaggTopp on my Jimmy's Bikini Top and so far it's holding up to the Florida weather really good.

Thanks again to all you beadaholics haha.

Just make sure these beautiful water spots,

Turn into horrible Type II Water Spots...

I am going up to the car right now with my DP Rinseless W+G at QD strength and some XMT spray wax as we speak... The rain water here is relatively soft, but sitting in the sun will do bad things!

I am going to reapply as soon as I go home again; the only reason why I let it go this far is to really test durability against my experiences with Raggtop which was my previous protectant of choice. I will definately take your advice though on reapplying ASAP!

On the photos, I actually took them with my phone. I was going to bring up my D3000 but it started raining again.

Haha, my car has more of an ocean view than I do from my dorm window. It is an unbelievably beautiful area, even more so after the weeks worth of rain we had and the fact that I moved from CT a month ago!
