Width difference between LC Flats?

hey. i purchased some 5.5" flats with 1 1/4 inch thickness from another site. I also purchased some 5.5" flats here at AG (backordered) that are 7/8 thick. has anyone compared the two? would the thicker pad not get as saturated? any comparisons? any contrasts? thanks. Elk

From what i can tell and have been told if you use the thinner pad and are a fan of the KBM you get better correction with a thinner pad since there is less wasted force trying to spin a larger pad.

I perfer the thinner pads for that reason even without using the KBM.
