My girl friend was spraying some homemade bull #### lol and spraying it everywhere. It was essential oils mixed together for some smell good bug eliminator. Will that damage car paint?

Any liquid that can get baked on the paint from the sun can cause damage, did you wash it off?

The bigger problem is your girlfriend spraying home made whatever it is over your car. Gotta cut that habit out early. I recommend replacing all of her clothes with the same thing but just one size smaller.

She didn't spray it directly on the car. I'm talking about overspray. I read online that essential oils are used to take stickers off cars. So it must be clear coat safe?

I'm just joking, but it can harm clearcoat if it's allowed to bake in high heat. I would suggest you washing it off quickly and leaving it at that as opposed to leaving it on.

It's parked in the garage and the car appeared to be dry. If any did get on the car it is dry already. I don't know if any got on it or not but was just asking worse case scenario.
