Wiper arm, swhat do you use to protect metal wiper arms?

I've usually just used a basic AIO by hand about 2x/year.

Any paint coating will work. Or even a paint sealant.

I use the same trim dressing that I use on the plastic cowl... Typically Meguiar's Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer... But any protectant will do.

For all the specialized products they sell, I’m kind of surprised they don’t ever specifically mention protecting wiper arms on any product labels. This can sometimes lead to people never really applying anything to protect them until it’s beyond the maintaining stage and requires more of a restoring because they’ve begun fading.

Wiper arms are like the red headed stepchildren of auto parts. When have you ever heard of them getting love from day 1? Never. Lol

This is what I do.

I used to use a trim coating/protectant, but noticed it never lasted very long on the wiper arms. Since the arms on all of my vehicles appear to be either painted or powder coated I just hit them with a paint coating when I do the rest of the car.

Plasti dip lay it on thick and peel off when faded, Arm only not on wiper blade
